Thorn is the reason why HC's in general are in this spot today. It's had its time and its time to move forward and remove the accuracy nerfs applied to all HC's so they can compete consistently as they used to.

No....they could REMODEL the thorn just like they did with some of the other year 1's that came in year 2.... especially since we're on our way to year 2....look what bungie did when halo had its anniversary....the thorn deserves its place in destiny it was the best gun in performance AND looks...

Meanwhile the Mida and TLW are still running things, why aren't they phased out?

They aren't "running" anything. They are slowly but surely being toned down but to expedite the situation, bungie needs to bring other weapons (legendary HC's, slow rof pulses,etc) up to par to their kill potential.

Well based on sbmm, you may be seeing a larger pool of players than what I'm seeing. It's more of a balance across the boards in terms of weapon of choice for me.
