Thanks for the quick responses everyone, I appreciate the help. Apparently I was not paying attention, the first two strikes I did were only lvl 36 strikes not the lvl 41 Heroic strikes. I came across this glitch with the spektar class armor when I did this quest with my warlock, and automatically assumed I was having a similar problem with my hunter.
