I understand completely, and I took a fair sized break myself and denounced this game after the Luke Smith incident. I [i]hated[/i] where the game got to and I needed to make a stand, no matter how insignificant. I understand where you're coming from, and if the twinkle is gone, it's gone. All I can offer you is this analogy: Quitting a video game is like boycotting the ice cream man. Sure, he may not have exactly what you want and maybe his prices aren't the best and his timing is bad and there's too big of a line or WHATEVER. But the truth is, while you're "sticking it to the man" from your front window, I'm skipping down the street enjoying delicious ice cream... So yes, BE MAD. And yes! QUIT! Right now it's the healthiest thing you can do! But don't be surprised when you hear the ice cream man song from down the road, and you suddenly stop caring about quitting and you just want some ice cream. Lol it happened to me and as much as I'd love to deny it... I am SO happy. I came back to Destiny after a long break and everything was fresh again, everything was fun again, and the twinkle had returned. Just something to think about, Guardian!
