1 simple reason, to get you to play more! There's no other reason for the stupid way Bungie implements their loot system! You can't possibly put it down to inexperience or an oversight, not this far into Destinys life span! they outright know it's bad and they want it to be bad so you play more, that's fact! Look at this, I've ranked up my Crucible 68 times wanting a Longbow these are my rewards 7 Zombie Apocalypses 6 Grim Citizens 3 Lord High Fixers 14 Next big thing shotguns 4 Pantha Rei Fusion rifles the rest has been Helmets and Bonds/Marks Bungies loot system is THE stupidest of any game I've ever played!
