Look into the nvidia 1070 in tests it is outperforming the. Gtx 980 and titan.

Yeah, and I believe there is a more powerful one called the 1080.

That's the one I was thinking of. Didn't see the 1070 though. So if I go for a 1080 does everything look ok or should I change some other things?

Yeah, ddr3 ram is probably better for a gaming rig but ddr4 will work too. It looks like the 1070 launch date is June 10.
