I've seen many posts like this in the past, elements make no difference in PVP, the perks that came with some of them however did.
I like the idea of being able to get a elemental core or something to add a specific burn to a weapon. That way there would still be the variety of weapons we are seeing at the moment.

True, having variation between elements/perks on weapons would encourage diversity.

That's...actually a great idea. I didn't touch any of the vendor rolls in y1 because I already had raid weapons for every occasion. But if you added an element to your favorites, that could work. I like the will of light on raid weapons, and thought it was a good balance. Hbu?

Will of light is ok, better than the shank burn perk. Takes away from another perk in the tree, cocoon is not all that great either. Only useful for the raid itself. Spray and play I find better.

Cocoon ruined the raid weapons in a way, as they all have horrific reload speeds as the tradeoff.
