Imagine wars being fought with Pokemon. Like entire countries are their own gym, and they use a certain type. Like Russia uses Ice-types, so they're strong against Egypt(Ground-type) but weak against America(Steel-type). Then when you conquer a nation by eliminating all their Trainers, instead of signing a peace treaty, you get the countries' badge. Then when you collect 8 of the countries badges you become Champion of the world. And then you have the privilege of replacing your national anthem with the Pokemon theme song.
