Range is all that matters on a hand cannon so you want rifled barrel and if it is a Eyasluna tyep weapon you want luck in the chamber to add 2 shot potential. Icarus is actually really god on a hand cannon if you can aim whilst jumping as I swear it makes your shots more accurate than when you were on the ground :)

I'm awful at jump-shooting, so anything with icarus is usually an auto-dismantle for me. But I'm sort of uneasy when the other perks are good. I have a revelator in my vault with outlaw, hand loaded/reinforced barrel/high caliber rounds, and unfortunately icarus. I haven't brought myself to dismantle it.

Revelator is a pretty bad hand cannon purely because of it's base range. My favourite hand cannon is First Curse just because of the look and sound :). Other that than Finnalas Peril, Byronic Hero, Vanity, Imago Loop and EyasLuna are all good IF you can get rifled barrel. The Ufern sold by the gunsmith is also really good. My Ideal roll would be rifled barrel, luck in the chamber and hidden hand, but really any of these hand cannons with rifled barrel would be good. In terms of Exotics Thorn is still the best purely due to its insane range and aim assist. Hawkmoon and Ace of Spades are good. Last Word shreds at the right range.

Totally agree, First Curse is a beast once you figure it out. Every now and then I dust off AoS for pve but I haven't brought it to pvp in a while. I'm pretty much set on exotic handcannons since I have them all now, but I'm really hurting for a few good-to-great legendaries in case I'm running an exotic elsewhere. Alas, I guess I'll have to throw down more sacrifices to rngsus and hope for the best.
