Is this high school? If it is the staff there sound like they are treating teenagers like they are 7. Back when i was in school if there was anything i did not benefit from like assemblies or sports games i would just leave school go to best buy or go play games with my friends we would skip and play Mario Party.

One day, we had a "lip sync" (which was super cringey like it is every year) and I believe around 50-100 people didn't go to school that day.
