You play with many people. You are not the sole "main character". There is a social hub where you can interact with others, it is a bloody console game, wtf do you expect? PC level interaction? Get real. Ja, it is an MMO, fits the definition as well. Hell, WoW is more anti social than Destiny considering the far greater easy that game has in creating social interaction than Destiny.
