Yeah but can't you just dead angle with it? I haven't really used it but judging by the amount of swords in rotation I know that spamming r1 is a recipe for failure.

Dead angle is a thing but you have to know that your opponent is going to try to parry your combo. In that case I skip dead angle and just go straight for the backstab. Dark sword is getting easier to counter these days. I can straight up trade with it using a heavy weapon. Hyper armor with massive damage that stun locks means you'll always come out on top.

I have the worst parry skills so I get wrecked by Dark Swords and Bestocs.
