Yeah, nobody wants to take away your guns. We just more detailed background checks to make sure mentality unstable people can't own guns or have the possibility of getting a hold of them.

Remove the bull crap questions already in and you got a deal! (An interview done short and sweet would do wonders in my opinion for the system)
-
They probably get more money per-question, and almost every one in politics is a money hungry jew.
-
Glad to see we agree on that, funny because I think Bernie is the only one who's an honest man
im not even a Bernie supporter, I like trump but reason I could never be on board with Bernie is all the apologetic stuff and I don't think he'd be a very tough president and people would only laugh at the US as they have with Obama
-
Not going to happen!!!!
-
Yes, at some point. More than 60% of Americans agree, and this is a Democracy.
-
No its not and no more people side with us
-
Yes, at some point. More than 60% of Americans agree, and this is a Democracy.
Just so we're clear, a majority consensus does necessarily justify action. We possess inalienable rights. If 51% of people agree to silence you, the state can still do nothing about it.
-
They wouldn't launch a confiscation of guns unless there is a clear reason you shouldn't have one.
-
No right is inalienable
-
I'm not saying that it's perfect, but if we can all agree that shit needs to change then let it change.
-
This is a republic. And bottom line is it violates the constitution. It doesn't matter how many people support it I have the law on my side
-
Actually it's a representative democracy. We democratically choose someone to represent us
-
The actual constitution or the ammended one? Lol
-
If you are a law abiding citizen, why are you so worried that a mere background check is going to take all your guns away?
-
That's how the government registers you. I don't want them to have info of what people own
-
2nd Amendment Amendment Amend It can be changed
-
Not without the ammendment process and Noone would do it
-
This.
-
It's a part of the bill of rights, which cannot be changed.
-
Every part of the constitution can be amended if gone through the amendment process

That impacts a VERY select passage in the document, and the actual Bill of Rights is entirely open to change. Most people just have this "sacred cow" mentality about it.
-
Except the bill of rights is more of a list than it is an amendment.
-
It's... Uhmm... It's the first ten Amendments.
-
It's a misnomer, bub.
