How strict are your parents?
From this video, to no breathing without permission.
I would say that mine are around the middle.

Mine were a little strict but pretty fair.

Not too strict but strict Like once when I was 8 my parents were fed up with my behavior and I was grounded until I behaved (meaning I couldn't go out with my friends, use technology like TV or video games or anything, this lasted 3 months) Of course I found ways to sneak entertainment in for myself however this is just one example being threatened and hit is another (nothing serious just disciplining)

A bit crazy, but they let me be a transgender without throwing a fit, so I'm cool with them.

And she knew I wouldn't get myself killed or something. And some days I'd lose all my possessions because I left a sheet of paper on the couch. I love her. She's a little insane sometimes

If I do something stupid or am just plain lazy they'll drop the hammer. They're really nice to me, though.

Growing up, my parents were really chill. I could basically do whatever I wanted as long as I told them where I was going to be, and when I'd be back. I try to see my parents frequently these days. It's nice to just chill in the backyard and have a beer with dad.
