We don't know when Rezzyl Azzir was a guardian. Im seeing a lot of similarities though. A legedendary hero stalking the wilderness with doubt in his heart. His only friend seems to be his ghost, and in the second card he wields a pistol.

He was a Guardian while the first walls went up, and Dredgen died when the walls were already up and had plenty of people in the City [spoiler]Plus, I don't think Rezyl went to Mars[/spoiler]
