Is this a place to ask a lore question?
I have one, albeit an answer would require speculation.
I'll just ask.
So the fallen used benefit from the Traveler's presence until it bounced. Despite all the civil war stuff they went through/still go through, they retained space travel and some tech and stuff, so they must be more intelligent than they are depicted in the game.
Is there evidence In the lore that they are far more advanced than humanity at this point?
I ask because that mission on Venus where you ascend the spire and capture skolas doesn't make sense to me. Humanity has known about the vex and vault of glass and the temporal control the vex have in there for centuries (I'm assuming centuries? Ishtar collective days?) but then skolas is freed and the first thing he does is go to Venus to steal vex tech from the VOG, and succeeds in at least being able to make those platforms appear in and out of time, above the spire, outside of VOG.
See my point?
Either humanity is not as advanced as a bunch of space dogs, or they never thought about studying and adapting vex tech.
Interested to see if there could be an explanation from the lore, or if, hey, it's a game, stuff happens.
Fine with either BTW.

It largely has to do with the leadership. The Wolves were only able to do it under the leadership of, essentially, someone claiming to be Jesus. Everytime a guardian looks into something like that, the Vanguard distracts them with pointless strikes or the Speaker bans them. Osiris and Toland come to mind.

This isn't the place to ask, this is just a recruitment thread. Once we have all our our posts and explanations organized, we'll open a desperate thread that'll link all the explanations and open the comment section as an AMA.
