I don't understand the mentality of some people...
Why do people think it's ok to just sprint slide shotgun to get kills?
It's basically admitting you can't shoot, so how can people have such little honor that they stoop to playing with such pathetic tactics?
When I kill someone I want to know it was because I was better than him and I outshot him, not because I used a cheap tactic that they couldn't defend against.
Help me understand this strange breed of people with no shame and self respect!!

You sound like the old generals who would line their musket troops side by side in an open field to fight a battle because of "honor" and what not, while the shotgun user is the guy using guerilla tactics and killing every damn one of your troops. Change tactics or accept your fate.

So you admit it's a tactic. It doesn't matter what kind of tactic they use, the point is they used a strategy instead of simple running and gunning so it's just that you need to git gud!

Although I do agree with you that it is a frustrating thing to encounter, it is a play style. That's the most fun and sometimes frustrating thing about destiny, so many different people with so many different play styles. My best advice for you is to be ready for anything, and keep practicing.

If you kill someone unless youre manipulating the system in some way its because you were better than them no matter how you got the kill, you got the best of them. So quit crying because you dont know how to get away or gun down someone running straight at you.

I don't care how people play for the most part. It annoys me when the same guy is doing the shotgun slide over and over and you play with him three or four games in a row doing the same thing over and over. It's annoying but I'm not going to quit or cry, just feel a little bit sorry for him because he is stunting his own enjoyment with mindless repetitive actions - in my opinion at least. I spam telesto at the walls and floors around groups of enemies or areas where they want to be. It must have really pissed the one warlock I killed over and over the other day who just didn't learn that I was going to do it every time I saw him.

Idiot. After the shotgun nerf they have terrible range. The person has to get so close now that it takes plenty of skill to not die on the way there. The trick is moving around then sliding in and kill the target. You may not see the strategy but it's there.
