The stats stay the same on the gear so no change in int dis str. The only thing that changes is the defence value. I think.

But how do you know how high the value though? Do the values of the infusion piece affect the outcome at all, or is it random?

So if you have a 310 str that you are going to infuse into a 290 int dis it will be a 310 int dis.
