I switched to vaping a couple years ago after smoking for about 5 years (since college). I quit cold turkey from smoking cigarettes twice before with about 6 months in between. I always seemed to fall back into the trap somehow, so I decided to switch to vaping. When I first started a few years ago, vaping wasn't anything like it is now. The industry has exploded. I don't know if that's good or bad...anyways I just recently decided to quit vaping. Wife and I will be starting a family soon. I've been nicotine free for about 3 months. From my experience, quiting vaping was 10x more difficult personally because I was taking in so much more nicotine vaping. I applaud anyone that's trying alternatives to cigarettes, and if you are trying to quit, stay strong and stay positive. If you are vaping because it feels cool, just be aware of the pitfalls of addiction and availability. Being addicted to nicotine and having the ability to vape anywhere you please is a recipe for disaster later. But I'm not judging anyone here, I've been there myself. Good luck to you all.
