You stop getting green engrams when all subclasses for that class are fully leveled up.

Not true, my titan has sunbreaker and striker all the way maxed, but not defender and green engrams don't drop for him

I do not know if the chance of green drops gets lower based on light level or jow close you are to maxing all 3 subclasses but I ran the raid last week on a guardian that was light 312 with 2 subclasses finished and like 90% to the third and I saw a green engram drop at totems.
