.22 is a good practice round. Plus (unlike the .45 acp) my kid sister can shoot it.

Yea I agree about .22 being a good practice round, but rimfire is just outdated and I don't why we use it (IMO)

It's cheap to shoot. If you want to send a thousand rounds down the range 22lr can't be beat.
