Sorry, hate to say it... But the fact that you want them are why they still exist. If they weren't exclusive and people didn't want them, then they wouldn't be made. But they are exclusive... This means that having them means you did something special, even if it was minor. Everyone wants to be special.

 • You missed the point by 1.8 miles....
Remember the days, where you bought the game, and were able to get all the content within by playing the game. You bought Skyrim and Played the hell out of it, and was able to earn Daedric Armor. You bought Halo, and had access to all the emblems. Simple stuff, you buy the game, have access to all the stuff in it.
I'm not arguing Exclusivity... don't know where you got that from? I'm arguing that selling emblems is wrong, and that that these should be achievable in-game at the time of their events. (Exclusivity isn't gonna go away, but these should at least be in-game), like the Nepal one, what would of been cool of Bungie to do - would do a Community fundraiser event for the Nepal Earthquake, and people who got involved in that, got the emblem/shader, Instead they just sell them for real money. Constructive Criticism - try to pay more attention when reading, instead of skimming key words.

 • I'd hardly equate an emblem to an armor, but yes it does suck you can't get it. On the Nepal topic... dude, that WAS a fundraiser. They gave a portion of the money earned to the relief fund.

 • It was - buy certain Nepal stuff from Bungie Store. It wasn't a Community event, just a "buy themed stuff, and we'l match your donation".
