It'll deal essentially double damage. Getting a bodyshot will hit twice (the bullet and explosion). Getting a headshot will hit the head for that damage and a bodyshot.

Nah it does about the same. Within pvp it does a whopping 1 extra damage when you add the numbers. Pve it becomes much more useful.
