My pretty sure I've seen a vid or montage or you playing maybe, maybe not? Either way looking at your stats whatever they do isn't going to make much difference. Even though I snipe a lot not and at close quarters, my personal view is that snipers should not be capable of doing so and should of been nerfed further. (I'll probably get it in the neck for posting this) lol Shotguns kill at slightly long range, forum meltdown, gun gets nerfed hugely. Snipers kill at shotgun range, forum praises high skill. Lol. The guns as bungie said should be working as intended, snipers are support guns that cover fire over distance and not one of the best close quarters guns in the game. I'm sure a lot of people's views will differ with mine but hay ho, I'm not gonna argue with people about it, this is my opinion;)

Thanks mate, yeah i can adapt to any changes they make so it's no real issue. It's just really good to know facts as they say knowing is half the battle. I'm glad to hear you've seen some of my stuff :) it amazes me how some people know who i am, earlier today i put a post on LFG looking to run CoE and got a party invite from these 2 blokes who told me they weren't doing CoE but asked if i could double carry them through Trials as they recognized my name and knew who i was. Blew me away so naturally i said -blam!- CoE and helped them. We won 8 games straight, one of them bought boons and went flawless but the other one forgot to and then we lost 2 in a row so we ran some CoE after that. Back on point to your comment, I have mixed reactions to the sniper nerf... you're 100% right that sniping close range is still way too easy, i can absolutely pub stomp and destroy with a sniper but when you start playing sweats and VSing top tier players snipers really aren't that easy and are definitely not as strong as people think. There's a reason why the majority of competitive players use shotguns and not snipers even with the shotgun nerfs.
