So what your saying is that you'd rather have others tell you what to think instead of finding your own way and your own perspective in life. That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Life is about finding yourself on your own. If you think that these people that tell you what to think have your best interests at heart you're mistaken. You have to find your way on your own. It's ok to have people help you along the way, but you have to find your own way. You have to do the thinking yourself. You have to challenge different ideas to find the truth. You find your own way of thinking no matter what it may be. Don't let others do it for you because they will screw you over. The world is a cruel place.

You couldn't have missed the point of this much more than you just did. It's not about some on else thinking for you. One of the things that make us human is our ability to learn from the experiences of others to learn lessons secondhand. People have wrestled with life greatest questions, lead lives more challenging than you and I ever will, and made impacts on our entire species as a whole. It's perfectly acceptable to look at the perspectives and thoughts of others and weigh them against your own, to learn lessons we might otherwise never have to, or lessons we might simply overlook. Life perspective is something unique to every person and there is nothing wrong with using the perspectives of others as a tool. Get over yourself.

Or I just think you're a complete idiot and the thought of you believing the words you type appalls me to the point where I have to address what you said in the hopes you might be swayed. But whichever makes you feel better.
-
Why would I ever be swayed by a pathetic, wanna be, know it all on the Internet? You have no purpose in my life other than being an item to be shat upon, you insignificant waste of atoms. Besides I don't even think you actually understand 2/3 of what you post. You just recite it. Good for you. I can get a monkey to recite the laws of supply and demand but an economist believes it. You can apply this analogy to whatever field and it holds true. You are the monkey. You don't think. You let others do the thinking for you so you can at least seem smart to people on the Internet that don't give 2 damns about you. Pathetic.

That's not what your mom said.

Ladies and gentlemen on the Internet welcome to how to spot a 12 year old on forums.
-
I was just handling your comment with the level of thought it deserved.
-
Be real with yourself. You know it's cause you're too stupid to think of an actual comeback that isn't a copypasta. And besides you know I'm right on the analysis of you. You can try to fake it but you can never run from it.

Edited by Britton: 4/24/2016 10:07:51 PMIm very real with myself. Thats kinda the point of this thread.
-
It's ok the first step is denial. The second is anger.
-
It seems you have some issues you need to work out with yourself.
-
Nope pretty sure I'm good. You just need to accept the fact that literally no one cares what you think on this forum. No one cares what I think either. That's the Internet for you.
-
Good thing this entire thread is about what others think.
-
But that's the point who are you to tell others what to think. You really think you are spreading some profound never before seen wisdom? Boy you really are a charlatan aren't you? In order to regain perspective a person has to experience certain things in life that actually make them change what they think. They can only do that by living life and making mistakes and learning from them. That's called experience for those of you playing at home. They don't get that from some video and to say that this is the key to regaining perspective really shows me that you think you are a false prophet. It's disgusting how you really think that you are a prophet subconsciously. You think you have the keys to all wisdom but you don't. I'm willing to bet everything I have that you don't. You don't know what it's like to have your anchors taken away, you don't know what it's like to be set adrift and be completely alone, you don't know what it's like to have everything be taken away from you just because you were at the wrong place at the wrong time, and you don't know what it's like to have to lose. And to say that you have the keys to regain perspective and steer people the right way is utter bull crap and you know it too. You just don't care because you wanna seem like you're a wise man when really all you are is a punk behind a screen claiming he's Jesus Christ (ok I know that's extreme but I'm being absurd to point out absurdity) and that he has all the keys to be happy and infinite knowledge when you know nothing. Enough of your crap. Stop it. You aren't a prophet. You don't really wanna help others. If you did you wouldn't waste your time on this site. You'd be rebuilding houses in Appalachia, you'd be in Africa giving aid, water, and shelter to those who don't have it. You'd be at the soup kitchen feeding the homeless. You would be coming up with cures for diseases that wreak havoc on this planet. You'd be making an actual difference in this world instead of trying to preach wisdom which you don't have on the Internet if you really have a damn. Honestly I think it's about time you got called out on it.

Edited by Britton: 4/25/2016 7:49:29 AMSo basically what you're saying is that: 1) you still don't grasp the point of this thread 2) you think you know what I do/have done in my free time. 3) that you're somehow special in the troubles that you've experienced

19 and I've been through more crap than you could possibly imagine.
-
Well I think you've misunderstood the point behind this post.

No jackass, he steps back and sees things from another point of view. I know, the very concept probably escapes you.
