Is there a emote that could accurately express how not one single person gave a crap about prince 3 days ago. It sucks that he died but I'm so sick of everyone pretending that they loved his music sooooo much, stop being liars!

 • I liked his music a lot. He wasn't a friend of mine, but there is no doubt he was an innovator and was extremely talented.
If a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friend's or of thine own were: any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind, and therefore never send to know for whom the bells tolls; it tolls for thee.
• Everybody on the planet knows the lyrics to at least one of his songs, hell raspberry beret has been stuck in my head all day. My point is nobody's gave 2 shiτs about him or his music for the last decade and now all the sudden everybody's posting prince crap everywhere like its 1987. I give about as much of a shiτ about prince as I do John Donne.

 • agree, his music sucks ass. Maybe for the 80s it was cool. But did he have anything worth listening to in the past 25 years?

 • Just because you choose not to listen to his music doesn't mean he hasn't done anything worth hearing. Even his most recent albums are being praised by musicians everywhere. I can't call myself his biggest fan or anything, but I know whatever instrument he picked up or style of music he felt like working in... he mastered it. Just check out his performance on "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" at the R&R Hall of Fame. He is sharing the stage with legends, honoring a dead Beatle, and everyone else in the room is staring at him in awe and jealousy... and he didn't even sing a word. It's the guitarist's version of dropping the mic.
