Seems like Rezyl either founded or inspired the Future War Cult. On his new card , he mentions one of their mottos: "War is the only constant."
The lore on the new card it pretty awesome, btw.

The Future War Cult is older than Rezyl, it's earliest references were made by Maya Sundaresh in the Golden Age. In the second card Rezyl is a Guardian, not Risen, this implies it's post Faction Wars and allows him to align with the FWC in a more civil manner.
