The quest is difficult, but can be done. Keep in mind that you only have to have TLW equipped; you don't actually get kills with it. I tried for special and heavy kills only.

Well, theres reduced ammo for both so getting on a streak with it is a good deal more difficult now (as it should be). Otherwise, true. Just sharing what I realized is a difficulty problem.

A lot of players completed their when SRL was active in December 2015. All they would do is equip TLW and complete a race, if they died, they would lose percentages.

A slow safe method would be to only equip TLW when you are about to win a match. You get 3% for that if I recall

Yes, and that's the method Im using, but I'm pointing out that the system is a bit flawed if you effectively have to cheese to get it done.

You don't HAVE to cheese to get it done...that is simply the method you are using due to your particular skill set (not knocking you, just re-stating my interpretation of the conversation thus far). Sometimes it is ok to accept the fact that you may not be able to acquire every single weapon. This mentality has helped me...I would love to get the Black Spindle (or hell, even the VexMythoclast for that matter, but I don't raid because I am lazy and don't want to put in the effort to compose a random team), but I suck @ PvE and I have come to terms with that.

To get it done I effectively do have to cheese though. The system is rigged to make it a 50%-50% chance to win in the first place. Short of a lucky spree, the only way through is luck-based attrition. Sure, I could just dump the quest, but the fact that that counts as an option points out how flawed the mission is. And if you wanna raid, hit me up sometime, I only have a few raider buddies around and one more is always nice. :D
