well he is the darkness in physical form, so he would have to be powerful.

I mean, good writing, and smooth flow of action, I just feel like sometimes it can get boring when a character is too OP, or rather, when the character is clearly ahead of its opposition.

don't count the light out yet. Shadow may be powerful but their is someone who can match him.

Oryx was a powerful hive god who got his power from the darkness. Shadow is the darkness. While it is true that the guardians slayed the taken king. Slaying the darkness itself is a much harder task.
