GUYS. No need to panic.
I haven't done a raid in a very long time, so I decided to find a chill group and do a little test.
I used Sleeper Simulant with armor that lets me carry more ammo for heavy weapons, so I had 12 shots.
Everyone else used Black Spindle and were all around the same light levels (between 315 and 318 for the people doing DPS.)
We had to wipe at one point, and it was right after I had finished using all 12 Sleeper shots and roughly 8-10 1KYS shots. I had about 120,000 damage more than anyone else on the team. Please bump this post so people can see! I tried searching a recent video that did a damage test on Sleeper on Warpriest, but all of the videos I had come across were from when the Sleeper first came out and only had 7 rounds.

Point is most wont -blam!-ing notice and just switch to heavy or whatever. Bosses will still die and Destiny will still keep going. If youre crutching bosses with those couple rounds then maybe skill is what needs a buff.

Who said anything about spreadsheets? And people are not going to be using the same strategy when this update comes out. Up to 7 sniper rounds missing from 5 people is going to make a huge difference whether they switch to heavy or not. Whatever, though. You can enjoy just being a jerk to people on the forums that are just trying to help.

On an under play style the coefficient gets to high and can cause tp breakage. If you pull to fast it can lift the roll up off the rod and create to much drag upon return contact. I for one dont want breakage when theres a code red going on. Come on its science

Oh you mean the Sleep which is Underrated by everyone. Idk why they said it sucks. A 9 Shot Laserbeam that 1-2 Shots mostly everything. Cept Bosses.

12 shots if you have extra heavy ammo armor. The reason it's underrated and hasn't been looked at is because when it first came out, it only had 7 shots. It really didn't do a lot of damage because of that. It wrecks now.

I used it with 7. I found it fine. But ya the 9 rds much better.

Nothing can be the new ghorn. Everyone has a fair chance to get the Sleeper.

Nowhere near as infrequent as a ghorn drop. There are known methods to farm them as well, just like farming everything else in this game.

Yes, but that was only unfair for ghorn because it was RNG. If someone has a requirement for sleeper, spindle, or touch of malice, it isn't unfair because you can get those weapons at any time. It's not random.

I play daily and still haven't found the 4 random pieces to start the quest on any of my guys.....silly rng ftw lol

That's really unfortunate :/ I've recently started maining a titan, and I've already found all 4 pieces again.
