The First Curse/No Time to Explain Quest(does it really matter?)
for a while I thought it would be doing the quest for the Raze-Lighter/Bolt-Caster but I got the Raze-Lighter a few days ago and now I'm just waiting for Armsday for the delivery of the final stage of the Bolt-Caster. I just hope I can find someone to do the final stage with

I'm not a big fan of Full Auto Pulse Rifles though

It's more about the perk. Critical hits return to the mag. If you are doing boss DPS it's essentially unlimited ammo. I was thinking specific to PoE.

I'm pretty sure there will be enough primary ammo for me to just use Red Death or Zhalo Supercell

and what was your point? The ammo will return after a precision hit(so?), all that does is make it so you will be leaving a bunch of ammo on the arena floor. In PoE you'll generally have enough ammo to kill the boss once it shows up anyways. PS if you're using your Primary to kill a boss in PoE you're just dumb. Use your special and heavy weapons when you can and the primary as the tickle distraction.

The point he was trying to make was that if you keep getting crit hits then you never have to reload so you can keep on hitting those crits. It does some decent dps despite being a primary since it's constant damage.
