I'll probably get a tattoo once I decide upon what military branch I join and everything. But it's gonna be after I retire from service surely.

  • Totally reasonable, what do you want to do in the military? Like, combat role? Or something else.

  • I'm honestly not sure. I want to do combat but my family is worried sick. All I know for now however is I might just end up retaking the ASVAB because my scores are decent but they are definitely nowhere near where I need them to be for all the branches to have the best options for me.

  • Good thinking, never want to limit your options if you can help it. Are there other options you've considered aside from combat? For the sake of your family's concerns, if nothing else.

  • Oh yeah definitely, I was almost thinking of electrician in the Marines. But I plan on seeing an Air Force recruiter here after school to see what I might be able to do. I'm not expecting much since they are considerably low for my first test but I might be able to get something cool and qualify. But if not then retaking may be the best option.

  • If retaking is an option and you weren't happy with your scores, i'd definitely recommend it. But asking around could work out too. Either way, I certainly wish you luck in the service.

  • Thanks! :D I'll probably end up posting my next one when I get it. I'm still working on the design, and waiting until I become licensed in my trade.
