I think in 2, there is a random button. Otherwise, I'd just close my eyes and spam directions mashing [b]A[/b] until I'm full, then have my buddy do the same.
I still own my Pokemon Stadium 2 and it's amazing.

Honestly I barely played 1, and that was like (oh here it comes) 17 years ago... So I have no idea. All I know is 2 was awesome. Maybe wait on it
