You don't need to get a new keyboard and mouse unless you don't have any spares, even then you could probably go cheaper. Having special keyboards doesn't really do anything. And you also don't need a monitor if you have a TV with HDMI ports that's not in use. The one you chose doesn't have a resolution too much higher than a lot if TVs, so it wouldn't make a difference anyways. You should also probably learn and hand pick your parts instead taking a build from the internet, it's better to not go in blind.
Update: Just looked at the parts and prices. Your build is almost identical to mine, except mine has a better CPU and is $800 cheaper. You should definitely get to know the parts and pick then more carefully. You should use pcpartpicker to help you with the process.
Also $44 for 8 GB 2X of RAM is way to much.
Edited by Dolphinizer: 4/6/2016 9:03:43 PMWhat build are you using? The reason I just got a build off of the internet is that I really don't know anything about building PCs or anything. Also I'm building from scratch, I don't have any extra TV monitors, keyboards or mice so that's why I included those Edit: I did some more research, is the Logical Implements 1430$ build good?

My build is virtually the same, but with a Z97 Gaming 5 Motherboard and an i7-4790 Intel CPU. To figure out what things to look at https://choosemypc.net/ which gives a good rundowns of what everything does and how to safe the most money doing it (except that it recommends you don't buy a cooling fan because typically your CPU will come with one, however the ones they come with aren't very efficient). As you figure out that things do make your build using https://pcpartpicker.com/, which has all available parts from all major providers and shows the cheapest price. You should probably get a friend who knows about this stuff to help you build it too. P.S. If you don't have a very good understanding of overclocking don't overclock.
