Mayhem is unchanged (which can be easier given the frequency of heavy drops).
Find a friend and cheese it in free for all (classic allows fireteams)
Still not that difficult.

The second option isn't...

It doesn't apply to bungie like the first one, they shouldn't encourage cheating...

It's not cheating exactly. The game allows for fireteams to enter classic free-for-all. I believe the same can be said for Mayhem Rumble, I know it is true for Mayhem Clash. The game counts sword hilt kills as sword kills. One is just using established in-game mechanics to achieve a goal. It is no different than, for example, going in to FFA solo and joining (or have others join) a party chat.

Ppl said the same about ice breaker and it was called a cheese/ exploit by the devs. If I remember correctly you can't use classic to complete quest like you can't use year one strikes to complete quest but I could be wrong. Also the sword hilt is legit because you are still killing with the weapon!
If I remember correctly you can't use classic to complete quest like you can't use year one strikes
Classic works for the sword quest. The only requirement is 25 kills in Crucible, not a specific playlist within Crucible.

Yea but I thought they said classic didn't work for Ttk content
