I think, personally, that the recent changes are ruining the DZ. it used to be a calculated risk. Now people go rogue just to do it. It's lost it's meaning. Really this game doesn't need pvp and this is the biggest Destiny type mistake they are making. In Destiny you need to run the raid over and over to get the best stuff. In the Division you need to run PVP over and over again.

  • Your entitled to your opinion, but before, going rogue had 0 benefit besides the slim chance of obtaining someone's yellow. Now you obtain rank from it. Additionally you will still lose a good chunk upon death. before patch I went rogue by accident, defended myself and in mere minutes ended up on a manhunt, died and lose like 3 and a half ranks. Now, everyone's a threat, which I find enjoyable. Running solo always makes me concerned who's near me, and makes me watch my abilities far more carefully. But hey, to each there own. To those dying often I could understand their dislike of the update but as someone who goes rogue often, I'm going to be biased

  • What Massive wants to do with the DZ is an interesting concept....but one that is very difficult to pull off in reality. Since the drop of the game, I've never diedi in the DZ in a epic squad-on-squad fight with rogues. I've only died ONCE to someone actually mugging me for my loot. Its either because I've shot someone who wandered into my line of fire, and they killed me to get the rep and credits for taking out a "rogue". Or some asshole walks up and shotguns me in the back like Billy The Kid, when I'm fighting some AI enemy.

    I have only been killed 4 times and only once did I actually have loot(actually 5 but it was the same guys after I had killed 2 rogues and there friends got me) & I have extracted over 300 times but I am noticing more people every time I go in. The problem to me really lies in the fact that rogues always have the initial advantage. If you are not going rogue and are with friends and a few others come over of course you are wary. Still the rogues will always have first strike advantage since they can plan when to hit you. This feels a little unbalanced.

  • That's a good idea. First in the new update they will get rid of rank and have gear score. That may help and maybe they need to separate the DZ levels based on that so its more balanced. That way those who got better drops are in DZ with similar level people. Also a rogue level, kind of like I think you were saying would be great. 1-5 would appear over there head when they got within range. 1 being very few to never going rogue to 5 being all the time. That way if you see a 3-5 you can at least be on extra guard and even setup in case they go rogue. This would make for more interesting encounters instead of just getting shot in the back as you are moving to another spot

  • Yup They need to add some kinda rep thing based on Rogue status I mean if ya go Rogue by accident, k..it counts against you sure, but to really hit ur Rep you need to be the guy who goes Rogue alot...a few times can be oh shits, too many times and it's choice
