Split screen is a good feature to have for sure but I still don't see why they limited it to 2 player coop instead of 4. I know they say it's because of the story but it just doesn't seem like a good move to me.

It took away from the Gears experience to be 4 player co-op. Traditionally speaking 2 player co-op was how the franchise started. It wasn't until Gears 3 that up to 4 people could play. With four players, even on Insane, the campaign became a cakewalk. Thus the choice to remove it was made. IMO it will make the game better.

Something is better than nothing.

I feel like "something is better than nothing" is not a good philosophy for a game developer to take on but I guess they'll just have to make it work. I'm still looking forward to the game nevertheless.

I'll accept that in this case because the game is going to run at 60 fps in multiplayer.
