I still find Washington and Oregon massively appealing to explore and I've lived in the Pacific NW for about 30 years. But if you're not considering being a tourist in your own backyard then Cali is pretty big and diverse. And I did enjoy Austin, TX when I went last year.

I'm 19 and am kinda trying to broaden my horizons and see what's out there first hand. I love hiking in the local mountain ranges and forests, but I'd like to see something different. Hence California and Texas.
