1- No, you get the bonus automatically.
2- Not sure, there's a debate over what it actually affects.
3- Raw damage and critical damage are more important.
4- Someone has probably already been there recently.
5- SMGs are the best right now.

Gold drops are RNG. Gold Division Tech, Tools, Weapon Parts etc now it definitely works with that.
