Not my personal opinion, but I was told by a few other guys in class that that's just a cop out, denying responsibility for your own actions

Just because we're biological robots doesn't mean we don't understand that crime is illegal. If someone does crime they should still be held accountable for their actions.

So there is free will? If someone can be held accountable for their actions then they must have choice. Even just very limited free will such as a set of reactions. But then aren't those determined by environment?
