I just played the demo and literally hate everything about it. The combat system is horrible with no real strategy, and the plates seem like a gimmick at best.
Edit: I've seen all the highlights from previous demos, that doesn't change the fact that the Final Fantasy franchise is being destroyed before my eyes.

You know the whole demo was a tech-demo, right? The plates are just simple things that activate different graphical changes to show off the tech being used in the full game. I personally thought it was stunning.

I don't need to watch the video. I played the demo myself on PS4 and had no issues. This video was just taken from some unfortunate player's console which wasn't working too well.

Can't see it happening unless they drop the resolution on ps4. Even if they somehow managed to fully optimise the game, that combat system would still be my main issue.

Ic. Well that is a different issue. I though it was passable. But when it comes to FF games, I've always been more into the story and character development than the gameplay. Not by much though.

If you would of played the other demo you would of actually liked the changed in combat controls from that one to this one. Of course the combat will be more in depth in the game, the platinum demo is just a teaser of what's to come. Why don't you go play CoD or something like that, seems more your style man....!

Lol, way to open with an insult... I actually hate CoD games, so I don't know why you would make that inference. All I said was the combat sucks, which it does, I didn't say it was boring. There is no strategy whatsoever involved in games that have that type of combat. I do realize what kind of a demo that was, but that doesn't change anything about the gameplay still being crappy. So in closing, you are a typical dumbass on the internet who I can assume is a young teenager. If you are an adult I feel embarrassed for you with how you come after people. Did you not get shown enough love in life??

There's actually alot of depth and a plythora of hidden moves that it doesn't tell you about, plus the other demo was better than this one. Someone on here listed all the hidden move sets

The Demo was more of a Tech Demo than anything else, look up Final Fantasy XV Episode Dusce(an actual demo that was released last year), that shows off what the real game is gonna be like better than this shit
