6 RepliesIt's not the 3 light level gear. It's the rep buffs that turn into weapon drops ... 2 bucks a pop for hella bonus rep... It's more "pay to speed up the process", because RNG will still be just that. I'm with ya on the people crying about the 3 armor gear though, lol... So dumb.

Im not on a side but alot of people are arguing that its not the light its the fact that the gear wont be as special or rewarding because there will most definitely be people who go in the reef day one and buy a bunch of sterling treasures so they have that gear to infuse for when they get the light they need. Idk i myself dont care too much but its something to think about i guess

In a situation where all things are equal, who's going to have an advantage: * The person who only relies on the free boxes and has a set with wonky stats and perks OR * The guy who buys a bunch of boxes on day 1, has faster reload for the the weapon he's actually using, extra heavy ammo for his equipped heavy and stats that fit his build? The point is that a lot of people are already running around with completely horrible builds. It's going to get worse when new sets - sets that more or less everyone will use - come out. Don't get me wrong, I don't think it's the end of the world and no one is forced to use said sets but I can see the argument that money is speeding up the gearing process. The reason I'm against this whole thing isnt a potential p2W. I'm against it because the boxes share content with in-game progression. I would be perfectly fine with it if the boxes only offered "sterling silver only gear". But from what i can gather they do not. Outcome, people are just going to buy the content they otherwise had to play for, resulting in less game longetivity. Even if people initially had no plans on buying silver it's going to happen when they see everyone around them do it and prance around in new sets.

I'm just trying to get as low a Light gear as possible to fun around in. Sparrow Racing gear is nice and all but all my helmets and class items and weapons are still too high in Light. I really want my Light to go low. I miss White rarity weapons =(.
