Can we please stop praising all these goddamn superhero movies?
They're repetitive. They're uninteresting. It was fun for a while, but the gimmick has been thoroughly played out, and I'm tired of getting 6+ superhero movies every goddamn year. That's money Hollywood could be spending on new and original ideas instead.
It doesn't help that they're generally not very good either. If all you care about is punching and pew-pew, then you're fine. You probably think these movies are fantastic.
But if you're looking for something that has some actual substance, some emotional weight, or an intelligent plot, then you're probably disappointed with the constant barrage of bland, corporate glorified toy commercials we're forced to endure, year after year, that feel like they were written in a board room somewhere.
tl;dr: Superhero movies are boring, shallow animal feed for the complacent masses.

Should make more hero movies watchmen. -Heroes aren't super friendly. -Government/police don't support the heroes. -Some of the heroes get corrupted. -Realistic damage. -Interesting back story spread out through the movie. -Heroes and villains eventually retire. I thought it was great and should serve as a model for more movies.

Movies are supposed to be an escape, aka entertaining. If I want something thought provoking I'll read a book, that's a way better medium for it anyway.
