I think percentage-wise we've seen less of space than the ocean

And that makes me wonder how we've only discovered less than 5% of an area on our own planet.

It's mostly just water pressure. Whatever we'd tey to send down there would be crushed.

You have to ask how much we don't know about the Earth? And it's a pretty small planet compared to what's out there.
