4 player teams, 4 "hero" characters cutting through waves of minions in order to get to the objective or other teams "heros" to take out. Seems very mobaish to me. But its the first one I'm interested in.

So with that logic, dynasty warriors has been doing Mobas before Mobas were a thing.

How are they different? We don't get magical special abilities? Its more grounded? That's not what makes it different and not a moba lol. It a moba that I always wanted. Theres nothing wrong with that.

It's more like dynasty warriors. It does fall into the MOBA category though.

I always thought of it as a King of the Hill sort of game, but I definitely see where you're coming from.

I'm not saying its a bad thing. It's just a moba like game i actually wana play. Unlike battleborn, overwatch, the epic one, smite, and many many others I'll never touch.
