played 5 games yesterday, only encountered somebody lagging for about 30 seconds, must have been just a hiccup in his connection. No problems otherwise though. Perhaps its your system. Are you playing over wifi? Playing through an ethernet cable should help your connection. Is your system port forwarded? Having a good NAT type increases your pool of players to play with, so more likely to be put into games with good connections, a poor NAT does the opposite. Have you reset your router just to see if that helps?

Its been this way for months. Disclaimer: I'm Aussie, 250km from a capital city though not isolated by any means, decent connection by Australian standards(15-19Mb down, ~1Mb up) 25-30ms ping to said capital, 90 to other side of the country. ISP supplied modem with a <1m cable. NAT issues has never been an issue, in other ps4 games or pc which I've played for many years... I'm a shift worker so I have played at all times of day and night and weekend. The player base has decreased dramatically with content drought and other releases so I'm not surprised its just frustrating. I'll be happy when they introduce region/ping locking and a polite removal of bad connectors from games if they sneak through. I would rather be told 'There are no optimal games based on your Crucible preferences. Would you like to continue searching (meaning accept higher pings) or try again later?' I would rather not play than deal with 300+pings from another continent.

yea, damn, that sucks. Hopefully they rope some of the players back in for ya, hopefully they get some dedicated servers at some point too. Best of luck friend.
