Here's my way of grinding Shards: [b]Step 1[/b] ~ Go to the Gunsmith, and buy a heavy telemetry. (You can also use Y1 telemetries! Those are Rocket telemetries and MG telemetries.) [b]Step 2[/b] ~ Now go to the Exotic weapon kiosk, and buy any Y2 heavy weapon. Buy as many as you want or as many as you can! (It will cost one Exotic Shard and 2,500 glimmer for each Exotic heavy) [b]Step 3[/b] ~ Pop the heavy telemetry, and equip the Exotic heavy weapon(s)! [b]Step 4[/b] ~ Equip each Exotic heavy one-by-one, and put 6 motes of light into each heavy weapon, (This will fully upgrade them. [b][i]DO NOT PURCHASE THE UPGRADE NODES! YOU WILL JUST END UP WASTING 30 MATS FOR EACH WEAPON IF YOU DO![/i][/b]) then dismantle them either after you put motes into all of them or one by one. It doesn't really matter how you dismantle them, just make sure you already put 6 motes into the one you're dismantling!) [b]Step 5[/b] ~ Profit! [b][i]You will get two exotic shards, 300-600 glimmer, and 2-4 motes back for each one you dismanlte![/i][/b] It is a costly process, but I can guarantee it works for every single exotic weapon/armor piece! (But I would recommend buying and putting motes into Exotic heavies, as they only take 6 to fully unlock all the upgrade nodes. Primary Exotics take 17-19, and Specials take 11-13. ([b]Only with telemetries active for that according type of weapon![/b]) If you don't believe me, just go buy [i]one[/i] Y2 Exotic heavy and a heavy telemetry, and try it out for yourself!
