They'll never balance weapons until they separate pvp from pve. No discussion is possible.

  • Why do you say that? If you look at Update 1.1.1, you will notice that Bungie seperated Shotguns in Both Pve and PvP.

    Really? You're going to go there? To an update from feb 2015? The one that has a list of everything they reduced? Whatever they did to shotguns they took it back already in later updates because of.....ba da dum...pvp. Shotguns right now are serious crap compared to what they were. It wasn't the PVE guys complaining, but we paid the price

    I looked at it, there was a whole list of things that were reduced, they buffed 1 or 2 things but again they took it all back since. My point is its 99% driven by PVP nerf requests. I can see PVP needing different requirements, but until they put a wall 20 miles thick between PVP and PVE the weapons are always going to be screwed. They killed pulse rifles, killed fusion rifles, shotguns are crap, and on and on. When I was level 34 in year 1 I could go into the POE and rip a fallen captains head off in 2 shots with my found verdict. I tried that THIS year at level 40 at 310 light (at the time) with the shit we got for shotguns this year and it took SIX shots to kill that same captain. I had to frigging reload. We need that wall. I'll go farther yet. Last year in the omnigul nightfall when you get to her room there was always that frigging boomer standing on the platform lighting up the hallway. I would go invisible with my hunter, grab my sword breaker, rush the platform and smoke that bastard in one shot. Try that this year and you will die.

  • Very true and understanding. There is only one problem: how do we separate both pve and PvP to fit? Or if we can't, how do we change it so that PVP won't interfere with PVE
