They're OP. The singular reason as to why the vote is swayed to the opposite end of the spectrum is because it's most expectedly warlocks who are doing the majority of the voting. Just think: 1. Longest ranged melee in-game, i.e. Y1 shot package range, discounting the sheer ridiculousness of what is possible with the Storm subclass. 2. Absurd grenades that can be thrown in an area and commit devastating DoT, or track you twice around the map. 3. An outrageous overshield upon HIT with the Sun subclass. 4. A super ability that lasts about as long as the spawn delay in a Nightfall strike, which can kill you twice in one run, and which also features and completely different class's super as a mere subclass node. 5. The best of the three class specific weapons, geared toward an already overpowered subclass. 6. Despicably good exotic armor pieces such as The Ram, and the impending Ophidian Aspect, and Astrocyte Verse. Of course, they do have their downsides, such as Glide, Angel of Light, etc. However, the simple fact of the matter is that the upsides are overwhelmingly greater.

  • I suppose you didn't take adequate enough time to inspect my profile. I play on Xbox AND PlayStation, where the Xbox has the most hours played, upon which platform I main a TITAN. I know what I'm talking about. I don't main a warlock simply because of how cheap they are.

  • Your really calling out their weapons? Weapons having nothing to do with the class itself. And look you can state things that make the class good. You can do that with any class.

  • Actually, it goes to further prove my point, which is that they afforded too much favoritism. Fabian strategy is borderline garbo and ace of spades is mediocre at best, but that Tlaloc sure is godly. Have to make sure the warlocks always get the long end of the stick.

  • I don't think it's that at all, bungie has just done a terrible job on year 2 to begin with. Almost none of the exotics feel exotic anymore. With no elemental primaries we don't have incentive to play endgame content like year 1. We have simple quest that can easily be completed. Bungie needs to make exotics feel like exotics instead of yellow legendaries. We also need to stop nerfing everything or else we are just gonna end up with throwing pillows and shorting marshmallows. We need to buff things not nerf it.

  • They're terrible at balancing. They try to fix one thing a break something else. But yeah, everything is slipping into mediocrity.

  • Exactly. We need more exotics like thorn and icebreaker. And by "like" I mean guns that feel unique and aren't just some legendary gun with a different perk. Tlaloc is good but it still doesn't feel exotic, to make that exotic it should have the ability to change burn types when overcharged. Things like that can make te game better. Ace of spades is essentially a Fatebtinger with a different model. Not sure about Fabian strategy but you get the idea.

  • I like your thinking. I can also think of a ton of great ideas for actual exotic feeling exotics, but alas...I feel as though the "play destiny how you want" model is long gone. Now it's..."we don't want you using the same guns anymore," or "you're running through the content too fast," and all of which results in nerf after nerf after nerf.

  • I know. Bungie needs to make thing a harder again. I want raids that govs each player a different role so that it is impossible to have less then 6 players. I want boss battles like original Skolas. I want that feeling of fear when you first encounter the hive on earth and moon. We need challenge and diversity again. That is the only way bungie can save their game.
