I think it depends on the nightfall. Got a 306 chest piece on shield brothers last week for my Titan and I was only 299 during the strike, and this week didn't get much. Granted last weeks nightfall was a pain and this weeks can be solo'd easily.

Only works in the nightfall tho in regular strikes the arc bro can hit you. I did it 5 times for a few friends no issue. Just gotta camp the light and have good add control.
