So is this like Watchmen where anyone that is overly in love with Marvel's "action, comedy, some plot, and repeat" philosophy will hate it or is just a giant clusterfuk?

BvS is not a stand alone film. It's whole purpose is to launch about 5 other movies that will all reference back to BvS and fill in purposeful holes. Also the 3hr directors cut may fix some people's pacing issues

Except i enjoyed Watchmen and BvS is a horrendous mess of storytelling and editing, both directed by the same guy. using the "If you didn't like it then you're a Marvel fanboy or hater" as an excuse for a badly made movie is sad. The movie has many issues besides being a boring mess during the first half, audiences and fans alike are mixed on it.

I used Watchmen as an example because the story they had is brilliantly laid out and told. I just watched the movie yesterday and also hated it. As for the "excuse", it's fairly common to see. People get used to a certain formula and if they see something different then they won't like it. Back to the movie, it's a horrid mess like you said. It feels like it has not direction other than the justice league will exist eventually

Agree with what you said, but i've seen a lot people use that excuse when the movie actually is bad from a different perspective (script, incoherrent plot, unnecesary cameos, etc).

Not a cluster-blam!- necessarily, just really boring.

Watchmen was a great movie. Everything I've seen of this movie, Suicide Squad and Man of Steel, makes me want to stay as far away from the DC cinematic universe as possible. I'll just stick with the comics thanks.

Yep dc makes movies for the fans of dc, marvel makes movies for casual people.
